Dove Ministries was developed by its President, Bishop Gary Barnhart. Gary presently serves as evangelist for Church of God, Cleveland, Tennessee. He has pastored in Missouri, Illinois, Nevada, California and Oklahoma, and he has evangelized across America. He has served as District Youth Director, District Overseer, on Evangelism Boards, and on Special Committees. Other ministries include radio programs in Missouri and Illinois, as well as weekly Television in California and Maine.

Gary wrote The Releasing of the Power and his newly released autobiography The Days The Devil Tried. After personally conquering many obstacles, including colon cancer, Gary ministers the messages of Faith, Healing, and Victory. He now launches the Dove Ministries Inc. website.

Gary and his wife Helen Barnhart, Vice President, have been married for 58 years. They have one married son, one daughter in love, one daughter, four grandsons, two great grandsons, and two grand daughters in love! They have served together in ministry for 46 years. Helen has ministered in music as a soloist and as a praise and worship leader. She has served as Women's Ministries President in local churches and Districts for the Church of God. Helen ministers the Word in teaching and preaching and has been featured as keynote speaker in many retreats across the country. Her unique ministry of encouragement and praying with women is a strong asset to her meetings. Helen has conquered many personal obstacles including breast cancer. Her message of healing and deliverance is a powerful word for today's women.  Gary and Helen are now operating their ministry from the state of Florida!
